Ask breastfeeding questions, weigh your baby and connect with other nursing moms to discuss your challenges and your wins around parenting and breastfeeding. This is a supportive environment for new mothers who are currently breastfeeding in any capacity. We recognize that everyone’s journey is different and special and all are welcome ❤️
The group meets on Tuesday afternoon @ 3pm, it is led by a lactation counsellor and mother of 3 with 10 years of experience. Your registration includes 4 weeks of consecutive group sessions plus 4 weeks of breastfeeding support via text*. These sessions are designed to support your early breastfeeding journey and build your confidence as a nursing mother in a non clinical environment. Support is available on less complex nursing issues with private sessions available for complex cases.
If you require more in depth support please reach out to us on social media or via email hello@picklesandlittles.com to book a private breastfeeding assessment.
Lactation counselling is a supportive role, we do not make medical diagnosis and any recommendations are reached using a collaborative approach with the client. If a client doesn’t feel comfortable with the outcome and recommendations or they require a medical diagnosis, they are encouraged to reach out to their paediatrician, public health or family doctor.
Coffee and tea is provided during our group sessions.
Event takes place at 31 Peet Street - suite 202, 2nd floor. Please keep in mind we do not allow outside shoes in our playroom.
Pickles and Littles does not provide refunds under any circumstances for missed session. If a session is missed you are welcome to make it up at the end of the 4 weeks.
Pickles and Littles make every effort to offer a clean, safe and comfortable space. Our nursing area and events are to be used at your own risk. We do not provide supervision and cannot accept responsibility for any injuries from the use of the facility.
*Text support is in place to support you when you have a quick question between the group sessions.
